Buses from Prague to Krakow

Regabus buses from Prague to Krakow run seasonally from Želivského bus station.

The departure time is 10pm on Friday with arrival at 6am on Saturday. The total journey takes 8 hours. The return bus leaves Krakow on Saturday night at 9pm and arrives in Prague on Sunday at 5am. Thus one can easily take a one day bus trip from Prague to Krakow.

The convenience is that the bus runs overnight both ways and there is no change needed.

A one way bus trip costs 750 CZK (30 EUR, 120 ZL). For the return ticket there’s a 20% discount. Children under 14, students, and retired people get 10% discounts. Hot drinks are free and are available during the whole journey.

An extra service is a free transfer (time is upon agreement) from the main bus station in Krakow to the Salt Mine in Wieliczka. It is the biggest and most popular salt mine in Europe.


Buses from Prague to Brno

The best buses from Prague to Brno are run by Student Agency. Student Agency buses are clean and offer free Wi-Fi, movies, and air conditioning.

Buses leave from the Florenc bus station in Prague (Metro: Florenc on Lines B and C).

Buses run from 00:30 until 21:00. Most buses depart Prague every hour on the hour and half hour.

The driving time for buses from Prague to Brno takes from 2h30m to 2h45m. Buses can take longer if there is traffic.

Buses to Brno stop at Hotel Grand in the Brno city center.

The cost of a bus ticket to Brno is 7.80 euros one way. You can buy bus tickets online from Student Agency.


Buses from Prague to Terezin

Buses from Prague to Terezin leave from Stand 7 of the Nadrazi Holesovice bus station in Prague (Metro: Nadrazi Holesovice on Line C).

The driving time from Prague to Terezin is approximately one hour.

The bus from Prague makes two stops in Terezin. The first stop is at a car parking lot beside the Small Fortress and the second stop is in front of the tourist information office in Terezin’s main square.

It is best to get off the bus at the Small Fortress, tour the museums, and pick up the return bus opposite the tourist information office (next to the Ghetto Museum), which has departure times posted on the door.

Buses from Prague to Terezin run one or more times an hour in both directions from Nadrazi Holesovice bus station until 18:20. It is best to take an early bus from Prague so that you have time to see everything in Terezin.

The cost of a bus ticket to Terezin is 75CZK (3 euros) each way. You can either purchase tickets at the station prior to departure or pre-book tickets at the Florenc Bus Station in Prague.

If you pre-book, you have to purchase a ticket for a specific time. Pre-booking gives you priority boarding, which is great in the peak season when buses from Prague to Terezin are crowded. If you do not pre-book, you may have to stand on the bus if it is full.
