Getting from Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or Orly Airport to the Paris city center doesn’t have to be difficult.
From Charles de Gaulle or Orly Airport to Paris by Taxi:
Taxi is the most expensive way to get from the airport to Paris, and can be slow if you hit traffic. Most drivers speak some English, but it helps to have your destination in Paris written down.

Travel Time: 30-45 minutes
From Charles de Gaulle or Orly Airport to Paris by Bus:
Bus transport is an easy way to get from the airport to the Paris city center. Most buses leave from the bus terminals outside of the airport doors and drop you off at or close to a metro station in Paris.
Air France and Roissy have reputable bus services from the Paris airports to the Paris city center, as do several other bus companies.
Bus Fare: 8.20-11.50 EUR
Travel Time: 45 minutes from CDG, 25 minutes from Orly
From Charles de Gaulle or Orly Airport to Paris by Train (RER):
The RER runs from the airport to the Paris city center. Follow signs to the RER terminal (depending on where you land, you may have to take a shuttle to get there), and purchase your ticket before boarding the train to Paris.
Beware: ticket lines can be very long and ticket machines finicky at the Paris airports, so the RER may not be a good option if you are in a hurry to get to Paris or have a lot of luggage.
RER Fare from Charles de Gaulle: (RER B + Metro): 7.75 EUR
Travel Time: 35 minutes
