The annual Esslingen Christmas Market is one of the biggest celebrations of the year in Esslingen. Located just 15 minutes away from Stuttgart by S-bahn train, it’s easy to visit the Esslingen Christmas Market and the Stuttgart Christmas Market in one visit.
Esslingen’s market is home to numerous Christmas market stalls selling all of the traditional crafts that German Christmas markets are known for, as well as good German food and mulled wine.
The Esslingen Christmas Market is located on Esslingen’s medieval town center amongst beautiful historic half timbered buildings. The market takes place in Esslingen’s Rathausplatz and Marktplatz squares.
