Located right on the Passeig de Gracia, Txapela restaurant serves up some of the best tapas in Barcelona. The nightly crowd and often long (but fast moving) queues are testament to the great food and atmosphere.
Once inside, guests can either sit at Txapela’s tapas bar or at a table upstairs or downstairs.
The circular bar at Txapela lets you see all the tapas before you order them and puts you in the middle of the excitement as the staff pours great Spanish wines from high over their heads.
The tables at Txapela restaurant are a bit more calm, and better for quiet evenings or large groups.
The menu at Txapela is all pictures. You can point to what you want to order if you can’t pronounce the name of it. Staff are helpful if you need assistance in ordering, as the menu is not in English.
