The Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich is best known for its beautiful neo-Classical exterior designed by the famous Sir Christopher Wren. With its twin domes and long colonnades, the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich is split in half in order to preserve the river views from The Queen's House behind it. Nonetheless, the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich is a breathtaking sight, and it houses two equally beautiful interior rooms that are worth visiting. The first of these is the Painted Hall. The Old Royal Naval College's Painted Hall is a masterpiece of artist James Thornhill, who cleverly painted himself into the scenery at the back of the room. The second is the Chapel in the opposite building. Decorated in the Greek classical style with Wedgewood-inspired ceiling colors, the Chapel is a peaceful place to rest and observe the decor.
