In 2008, Ascot Racecourse launched the Face of Ascot model search at Royal Ascot.
Co-sponsored by Models 1, the Sunday Express Magazine, and Karen Millen, the Face of Ascot competition aims to find a model and ambassador to represent the racecourse for one year.
On Tuesday and Wednesday of Royal Ascot, scouts for Models 1 search the Grandstand and Silver Ring areas to find a new female face that embodies the spirit of Ascot.
At the end of the two day search, the finalists are selected to return on the final day of Royal Ascot for the official judging and selection of the Face of Ascot. Following a champagne reception, photo shoot, and lunch, the winner is announced live on the BBC.
The Face of Ascot represents Ascot Racecourse at events throughout the year, participates in photo shoots, and features in Ascot’s promotional materials.
If you’re a female and over 18 years old, buy your ticket, put on your most fashionable dress and your most elegant hat, and head to Royal Ascot for your chance to be the Face of Ascot 2011.
