The train from London to Stansted Airport is called the Stansted Express.
The Stansted Express train departs from London Liverpool Street train station in East London. Trains run daily from 3:40am on Mondays, 4:10am on Fridays and weekends, and 4:40am all other days. The last Stansted Express train from London to Stansted Airport departs at 11:25pm every day.
Trains leave for Stansted Airport at 10, 25, 40, and 55 minutes past the hour between 5:10am and 10:55pm (except Sundays, when they run four times an hour between 6:10am and 10:55pm). At other times they run less frequently.
Stansted Express trains make one stop at Tottenham Hale train station before arriving at Stansted Airport. The total train journey time is 46 minutes.
Stansted Express tickets cost £18.00 for a one way ticket and £26.70 for a return ticket if you purchase your train tickets online. If you purchase your tickets at the station, they are more expensive.
Discounts on Stansted Express tickets are available for children, railcard holders, and frequent travellers.
