Open House London
Open House London 2012 dates: September 22 – 23, 2012
Open House London takes place every year in September in the UK capital.
Billed as London’s “greatest architectural showcase”, Open House London features buildings that are normally closed to the public that open their doors for two days free of charge.
Over 700 buildings throughout London are on show over the weekend of the Open House, allowing visitors to see the interiors of spaces normally hidden in the capital.
Walks, talks, and even cycle tours are all part of the celebration of Open House London. There are also competitions for the best architectural photographs.
Every year Open House London features a different set of buildings. Most of them are open to all who come, while a few are only open to those that sign up in advance.
Make sure to check the official Open House London Guide in advance to make sure the buildings you want to see are open.
