Buses from Prague to Terezin are one of the best ways to get from the capital to the Holocaust memorial when you are visiting the Czech Republic. They’re more direct than trains, and can be easier than driving if you don’t have a car.<\/p>\n

Buses leave from the Nadrazi Holesovice and Florenc bus stations in Prague. Both are served by the metro and trams.<\/p>\n

The driving time from Prague to Terezin is approximately one hour, depending on traffic and road conditions. If you need to be there by a certain time, make sure to leave yourself a buffer in case of delays.<\/p>\n

The bus makes two stops in Terezin. The first stop is at a car parking lot beside the Small Fortress and the second stop is in front of the tourist information office in Terezin’s main square.<\/p>\n

It is best to get off the bus at the Small Fortress, tour the museums, and pick up the return bus opposite the tourist information office (next to the Ghetto Museum), which has departure times posted on the door.<\/p>\n

Buses from Prague to Terezin run one or more times an hour in both directions until the early evening. It is best to take an early bus from Prague so that you have time to see everything in the town.<\/p>\n

The cost of a bus ticket to Terezin is around 100 CZK each way. You can either purchase tickets at the station prior to departure or pre-book tickets at the station in Prague.<\/p>\n

If you pre-book, you have to purchase a ticket for a specific time. Pre-booking gives you priority boarding, which is great in the peak season when buses from Prague to Terezin are crowded.
