Taking the bus from Prague to Budapest is a good way to get from the capital of the Czech Republic to the capital of Hungary when you are visiting Europe.<\/p>\n

Buses between the two capitals run regularly from Prague’s Florenc bus station to various locations in Budapest.<\/p>\n

There are a number of companies that run services on this route. These include Student Agency, Orangeways, and Eurolines. All of them offer modern, comfortable coaches at competitive prices.<\/p>\n

The journey time is around 7 to 7.5 hours, and timetables change seasonally. As such, make sure to check for the most updated information before you travel.<\/p>\n

Student Agency has two daily services on this route. One departs in the morning, and one in the afternoon. Buses depart from the Florenc bus station and arrive at Nepliget, Konyves Kalman korut. Tickets cost 23 euros one-way or 40 euros round-trip. Discounts and concessions are available for qualifying passengers.<\/p>\n

Orangeways has a daily overnight bus from Prague to Budapest as well as an afternoon service that runs several days a week. Their coaches depart from Florenc and arrive at the FTC Stadion in Budapest. Tickets cost from 17 euros one-way and 32 euros round-trip.<\/p>\n

Eurolines buses from Prague to Budapest also depart twice a day: once in the morning, and once in the afternoon. Buses leave from the Florenc station and arrive at Nepliget.
