Taking a bus is an inexpensive and easy way to get from Milan Bergamo airport to Milan when you are visiting Italy. The airport is located 45 kilometers (28 miles) from the city center, so it requires traveling a bit of a distance to get to your final destination.
From Bergamo airport, you can take a dedicated Terravision bus to Milan Centrale train station, which is located in the city center. Buses run via Cologno Monzese.
Once the bus drops you off at the station in Milan, you can take the metro to your final destination in the city.
Buses leave Milan Bergamo airport for Milan every 20 to 30 minutes between 4:05am and 1:00am, and departures are timed to coincide with flight arrival times. The journey takes 60 minutes and can cost as little as 5 euros one-way or 9 euros round-trip if you book online in advance and take advantage of special promotional fares.
If you book online, keep in mind that you will need to arrive at the bus stop in the bus parking area in front of the long-stay parking lot outside of the arrivals hall at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time. As such, be sure to leave yourself some extra time between your scheduled flight arrival time and your bus departure time.
