Taking a bus is an inexpensive way to get from Milan Malpensa airport to the city center.

From the airport, you can take the Malpensa Shuttle or Malpensa Bus Express to Milan Centrale train station, which is right in the heart of Milan. Both services depart from outside of the arrivals halls of both terminals.

Once the bus drops you off at the station, you can take the metro, a city bus, or a taxi to your final destination.

Buses leave Milan Malpensa airport for the city center every 20 minutes at peak times. The trip takes 50 minutes and costs 10.00 euros one-way or 16.00 euros round-trip. Children get a 50% discount. Tickets can be purchased at kiosks by the baggage claim areas in the airport terminals, or online in advance.

Other ways to get from the Milan airport to Milan include taking a train, taxi, or rental car.
