Ferries from Naples to Capri are a great way to get to the island off the Amalfi Coast when you are visiting Italy.<\/p>\n

Services on this route are run by a number of different ferry companies. They operate year-round and depart from Naples Molo Beverello and Mergellina\u00a0ferry ports. Some ferries are passenger-only ferries, while others are car and passenger ferries.<\/p>\n

There are three speeds of ferry that travel from Naples to Capri: regular ferries, fast ferries, and hydrofoils. Regular ferries go from Naples to Capri in 80 minutes, fast ferries in 50 minutes, and hydrofolis in 40 minutes. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Caremar Ferry from Naples to Capri<\/strong><\/p>\n

Caremar ferries from Naples to Capri depart from Molo Beverello 6 times a day. Ferries that run on this route are called Nave veloce or Traghetti.<\/p>\n

Tickets for Caremar ferries cost 16.30 euros each way for Nave veloce ferries and up to 13.70 euros each way for Traghetti ferries (the cost varies by the time of year). You can also take cars on these ferries.<\/p>\n

SNAV, N.L.G., and Gescab\u00a0Ferries from Naples to Capri<\/strong><\/p>\n

SNAV, N.L.G. and Gescab ferries depart from\u00a0Naples Molo Beverello ferry port 9 times a day year-round.\u00a0Services that run on this route are fast hydrofoils called Jet ferries.<\/p>\n

Ferry tickets on these companies’ hydrofoils cost 20.10 euros for a single and can be purchased online or at the port.<\/p>\n

Metro del Mare Ferry from Naples to Capri<\/strong><\/p>\n

Metro del Mare runs a daily ferry service from Naples Molo Beverello to Capri and the Cliento Coast. The trip takes 50 minutes and offers great views of Mount Vesuvius and Sorrento along the way. However, 2014 timetables have not been released, and there is suspicion that the company will not operate services this year due to financial trouble.<\/p>\n

When they do operate, Metro del Mare only offers services on this route from July to mid-September, so make sure to plan your travel accordingly. Tickets for their ferry from Naples to Capri cost 22.00 euros one-way.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
