Buses from Sorrento to Positano are a great way to travel between towns on the Amalfi Coast when you are visiting Italy. Services depart regularly from the bus stop by the wall down the stairs opposite the Sorrento train station.<\/p>\n

Buses on this route are run by an Italian company called SITA<\/a>. Their buses are large coaches that offer comfortable seats and air conditioning.<\/p>\n

Buses depart Sorrento for Positano around every 30 minutes on weekdays, and less frequently on weekends and holidays.\u00a0During the high season buses fill up quickly, so make sure to arrive early to get in line if you want a seat. SITA bus schedules vary by the season, so make sure to check before you travel.<\/p>\n

The total driving time from Sorrento to Positano is 50 minutes. It can take longer if there is traffic en route. The roads are winding, so if you get motion sick, make sure to sit in the front.<\/p>\n

Bus tickets can be purchased at the magazine store in the Sorrento train station. Ticket prices to all towns on the Amalfi Coast are based on time, and cost 2.40 euros for 45 minutes and 3.60 euros for 90 minutes. <\/p>\n
