You can visit the Vatican at night! From early May through the end of October, the Vatican opening hours are extended, and you can visit the Vatican from 7pm to 11pm on Friday evenings (except in August).<\/p>\n

Visiting the Vatican in the evening is a unique way to experience the place, and also lets you avoid the long lines at the Vatican during the day.<\/p>\n

When visiting the Vatican at night you can see the Gregorian Egyptian Museums, Pio Clementino Museum, Upper Galleries of the Vatican Museums, including the Gallery of Tapestries and Candelabra and the Hall of Maps, Raphael’s Rooms, the Borgia Apartment, the Collection of Modern Religious Art, and the Sistine Chapel.<\/p>\n

If you decide to visit in the evening, keep in mind that all visits must begin before 9:30pm and visitors must leave the Vatican by 11:00pm.<\/p>\n

To visit the Vatican at night you must buy Vatican tickets online in advance of your visit. Adult tickets cost around 20 euros plus a booking fee. Reduced tickets are also available for those eligible for special fares.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
