You have to pay up, but if you want to eat at the top restaurants in the city, it is worth it.<\/p>\n

Here is my list of the best restaurants in Venice:<\/p>\n

Da Ivo Restaurant<\/a><\/strong>
\nSmall, intimate, and perfect for a romantic dinner, Da Ivo serves up amazing food with prices to match. Try the risotto with mushrooms or the soft shell crabs while watching the gondolas go by out the window.<\/p>\n

Do Forni Restaurant<\/a><\/strong>
\nAlways reliable, this restaurant in the heart of the city serves up some of the best food in Venice. Don’t miss the great Venetian seafood dishes or the chance to order a bottle from the extensive wine list. If you can, get a table in the traditional rustic dining room.<\/p>\n

Antico Pignolo Restaurant<\/a><\/strong>
\nTwo doors down from Do Forni, Antico Pignolo restaurant is a Venice favorite. Prices are high, but the restaurant’s excellent food and beautiful outdoor garden setting are worth it.<\/p>\n

Osteria Da Fiore Restaurant<\/a><\/strong>
\nArguably the best restaurant in Venice, Da Fiore’s cuisine is world-class. The restaurant has friendly staff, great seafood, a solid wine list, and an elegant, understated ambiance.<\/p>\n

Trattoria Madonna<\/a><\/strong>
\nLocated near the Rialto bridge on the opposite side of the island from St Mark’s Square, Trattoria Madonna is the most reasonably priced of all the best restaurants in Venice. The food is still top-notch, though, and the fact that the restaurant has been around for over 50 years is a testament to its quality.<\/p>\n

Cipriani<\/a><\/strong>
