Trains from Milan to Lake Como are a great way to get from the city to the lake district when you are visiting Italy.<\/p>\n

Trains leave Milan Centrale, Cadorna, and Porta Garibaldi train stations for Como San Giovanni and Como Lago Nord train stations.<\/p>\n

Trains from Milan Cadorna to Como Lago Nord station run twice an hour. The journey time on this route to Lake Como takes 1 hour and 3 minutes. All services are operated by Trenitalia on Regional trains. Tickets cost 4.55 euros in second class and 6.80 euros in first class, so it is relatively inexpensive to get there.<\/p>\n

Trains from Milan Centrale and Porta Garibaldi to Como San Giovanni depart up to three times an hour. The journey on this route takes between 33 minutes and 59 minutes, depending on what kind of train you take. All services are operated by Trenitalia on InterCity and Regional trains. Tickets cost 12.50 euros in second class and 15.50 euros in first class on InterCity trains, and 4.55 euros on Regional trains (there is only one class of service on these trains).<\/p>\n
