Driving from Venice airport to the Venice city center is not recommended, as cars are not allowed on any streets in the historic heart of the city.<\/p>\n

If you decide that you want to drive from Venice airport to Venice anyway, you must leave your car at a place like the Piazzale Roma for the duration of your stay.<\/p>\n

Once you have parked your car, you can board a water taxi or water bus. These depart from the water taxi station at the Piazzale Roma and from other stops around the city. The water taxis and buses will take you to (or near to) your final destination in Venice.<\/p>\n
