\nThe Yeatman’s Gourmet Restaurant<\/span><\/div>\n

The best Porto restaurants aren’t always the ones in the most obvious places.\u00a0Nor are they always the ones in the Portugal guidebooks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Some of them are off-the-beaten-path, up a steep hill, or hidden away around a corner. After some searching (and some sampling!), here is a list of what I consider to be the best Porto restaurants:<\/p>\n

Gourmet Restaurant at The Yeatman Hotel<\/a> – Michelin-starred and worth the trip up the hill in Vila Nova de Gaia, The Yeatman’s Gourmet Restaurant is one of the top fine dining restaurants in Porto.<\/p>\n

The Bull & Bear Restaurant – Consistently rated one of the top restaurants in Porto.<\/p>\n

Majestic Cafe<\/a>\u00a0– A great place for a snack or light meal. Don’t miss the gorgeous Art Nouveau architecture.<\/p>\n

Confeitaria do Bolhao<\/a>\u00a0– The perfect place for a quick pastry after visiting the market across the street.<\/p>\n

D. Tonho Restaurant<\/a>\u00a0– Great views across Porto and a lovely terrace.<\/p>\n

Barao de Fladgate Restaurant<\/a>\u00a0– In the Taylor’s Port Lodge, great food and wine are served. Views are excellent.<\/p>\n

A Tasquinha Restaurant<\/a>\u00a0– A great place for a casual lunch or dinner in Porto. The restaurant offers excellent value for money, too.<\/p>\n
