Weekend departures follow the off-peak weekday schedule.<\/p>\n<p>The total journey time from Rossio station is only 39 minutes, making Sintra an easy day trip from Lisbon.<\/p>\n<p>Return trains from Sintra to Lisbon leave Sintra at 16, 36, and 56 minutes after each hour on both weekdays and weekends.\u00a0The total travel time from Sintra to Rossio train station is 40 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>A one-way ticket for trains from Lisbon to Sintra costs 1.95 euros for adults. There are also family tickets that allow up to 4 family members to travel to Sintra together for a discount. You can purchase tickets at the machines at Rossio station, or from the ticket booths there.
