Taking a ferry from Spain to Tangier is a great way to get from Europe to northern Morocco.<\/p>\n

Ferries to Tangier leave from the Spanish ports of Algeciras and Tarifa. Daily services on this route are run by two companies: ACCIONA Trasmediterranea and FRS. <\/p>\n

The former runs the ferry service from Algeciras to Tanger Med, while the latter runs the ferry service from Tarifa to Tangier. Details about both routes are outlined below.<\/p>\n

FRS Ferry from Tarifa to Tangier<\/strong><\/p>\n

The FRS ferry from Spain to Tangier runs five times a day on odd hours between 9:00 and 21:00. The ferry costs 33.50 euros one-way for adult foot passengers if you book online in advance.<\/p>\n

The crossing on this route takes 1 hour. Remember that there is also a 1 hour time difference between Spain and Morocco, with the latter being behind.<\/p>\n

ACCIONA Trasmediterranea Ferry from Algeciras to Tanger Med<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ACCIONA ferry from Spain to Tanger Med runs five times a day between 8:00 and 21:00. Fares can be as low as 9.60 euros one-way for adult foot passengers if you buy ferry tickets online well before you travel. The crossing takes 1 hour and 30 minutes.
