Visiting Norfolk, England is a great way to spend a few days while you are travelling in the UK. The county is one of England’s many beautiful regions, and visitors come from all over to experience its highlights.<\/p>\n

Located just two hours northeast of London by train<\/a>, Norfolk makes an easy weekend trip from the UK capital. Once you arrive, getting around Norfolk is best done by car, as there are lots of small towns to visit and train and bus transport in the region can be cumbersome.<\/p>\n

Norfolk is known for its flat, open land and maze-like system of waterways called the Norfolk Broads. Small towns with old churches dot the landscape and make for beautiful scenery. Additionally, beaches and stately homes–including the Queen’s own Sandringham–round out the landscape.<\/p>\n

Norfolk is home to some great hotels<\/a> and B&Bs, including the famous Hoste Arms in Burnham Market. The culinary scene is also top notch, and there are some great Norfolk restaurants<\/a>\u00a0that have won awards from the likes of the Michelin Guide and the Good Food Guide.<\/p>\n
