While England might not seem a likely place for surfing, the Cornish coast is home to some popular breaks and world-famous surf spots. Indeed, they are some of the best places to surf in the UK.<\/p>\n

The north coast has the best surfing in Cornwall, so it is best to start with the surf beaches there. If you’re a beginner surfer, try taking lessons from a surfing school in Cornwall before you paddle out.<\/p>\n

At the top of the list is Newquay, a city in the middle of Cornwall’s north coast. Newquay is the home of the British Surfing Association and the National Surfing Centre, and hosts the annual Boardmasters surfing competition each year.<\/p>\n

Apart from Newquay, Fistral has the best surfing for advanced surfers in Newquay. It is a great place to surf if you want a challenge.<\/p>\n

Polzeath is another of the best places for surfing in Cornwall. Polzeath is packed with surf shops and surf schools, and there are plenty of beaches for beginners and experienced surfers alike.<\/p>\n
