After a successful display of a number of Henry Moore’s sculptures at Kew Gardens in 2007, the Royal Botanic Gardens are bringing another of his sculptures to Kew in 2014. <\/p>\n

From 25 September, visitors will be able to see Moore’s ‘Reclining Mother and Child’ (1975 – 76) sculpture in a peaceful area of the gardens.<\/p>\n

The sculpture will be on display for a few years, so if you aren’t in London when it first arrives, there is still time to see it on a future visit.<\/p>\n

History<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2007, the Henry Moore sculptures at Kew Gardens<\/a> were part of the largest outdoor exhibition of Henry Moore’s works ever seen in London.<\/p>\n

The Moore sculptures at Kew Gardens ran through March 30, 2008 and featured 28 large-scale sculptures.<\/p>\n

Among the sculptures on display in Kew Gardens were Large Reclining Figure (1984), Double Oval (1966), and Oval with Points (1968-70).<\/p>\n

The Henry Moore sculptures were displayed throughout the grounds and could be visited via audiotour (downloaded on your mobile phone for 1.50GBP) or by a walking tour from Victoria Plaza in Kew Gardens.<\/p>\n
