Bourton-on-the-Water is a town in the Cotswolds<\/a>\u00a0region of England. Easily accessible by car or on foot from Lower Slaughter<\/a>, Burford-on-the-Water is a great place to visit on a day trip to the Cotswolds.<\/p>\n

When you arrive in the town, you can park your car in the large car park on the edge of Bourton-on-the-Water (~2 GBP per hour). From there it is a short walk to the town centre. There you can walk around the high street along the river. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to keep you entertained.<\/p>\n

Bourton-on-the-Water has no shortage of activities, from Birdland Park and Gardens<\/a> to the Model Village<\/a>, a\u00a01\/9 miniature replica of Bourton-on-the-Water. There is also an old church and of course the beautiful stone houses and buildings for which the Cotswolds are famous.<\/p>\n
