London’s luxury hotels are dotted throughout the city, and while there is no shortage of five-star hotels in London, a few are a cut above the rest.<\/p>\n

Here are five hotels that I consider to be the best London luxury hotels:<\/p>\n

St. Martin’s Lane Hotel<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>– The St. Martin’s Lane Hotel is all about luxury for the cool crowd. The hip hotel features art installations, an exclusive bar, and a location in the heart of Covent Garden that can’t be beat. If you want luxury combined with style, this is the London hotel for you.<\/p>\n

The Connaught <\/strong>– One of the most upscale and private hotels in London, The Connaught is the perfect place to stay if you like seclusion in a luxurious setting. The hotel’s famous Helene Darroze restaurant has two Michelin stars and its well-known bars serve excellent cocktails in elegant settings.<\/p>\n

The Metropolitan<\/strong> – The Metropolitan Hotel, or The Met as it is known locally, is one of the top London luxury hotels. Situated on Park Lane, its location in Mayfair makes it a great place from which to explore central London’s highlights, including Buckingham Palace and Piccadilly. Its famous restaurant, Nobu, serves award-winning Japanese cuisine, and its bar, The Met Bar, is the perfect place for cocktails.<\/p>\n

The Lanesborough <\/strong>– Located right at Hyde Park Corner, the Lanesborough is ideally located for those that like the outdoors as well as those that want to explore the famous shopping area of Knightsbridge. Within the hotel is the famous Apsleys restaurant, which serves an award-winning afternoon tea in London.<\/p>\n

The Mandarin Oriental, London <\/strong>– The Mandarin Oriental is a London luxury hotel that can boast of being housed in one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. In addition, it is home to London’s most famous restaurant, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal.
