One of the best ways to get from Brussels Charleroi Airport to Brussels is to take a train.
From Brussels Charleroi Airport, first purchase a combination bus-and-train ticket at one of the two ticket machines outside of Door 2 at the airport. Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted.
The ticket costs less than 15 euros and will cover a bus to the Charleroi South train station as well as a train from Charelroi to the Brussels city centre.
After you have purchased the ticket, board TEC bus A from the stand outside of Brussels Charleroi Airport.
Buses leave the airport every 30 minutes at peak times on weekdays, and every hour at peak times on weekends.
The total bus journey from Charleroi airport to Charleroi South train station takes 18 minutes.
Once you arrive at Charleroi South train station, you can take a train to the Brussels city centre, Bruges, Antwerp, or any other city in Belgium. The ticket covers travel to any onward train station in Belgium, so is a great value if you are travelling further afield.
