Taking a train from Munich to Dachau is an easy way to do a day trip to the Dachau concentration camp.

Buses from Dachau to the Concentration Camp:
Once you arrive in Dachau on the S-Bahn train, you can take bus 724 or bus 726 to the KZ-Gedenkstaette stop, which is just outside the concentration camp in Dachau.
The bus from Dachau to the concentration camp takes around 10 minutes. Buses run every 20 minutes at peak times. If you're visiting during peak season, try to get there early so you don't have to wait in long lines for the bus.
