Igreja de Santa Maria Tavira

The Igreja de Santa Maria in Tavira is located just across the street from the castle and is a fine example of Moorish-Gothic architecture. Originally a mosque in Moorish times, the Christians re-built the church in the 13 century but left several Moorish elements intact.

Admission price for the Igreja de Santa Maria is 1.00EUR.
