The good news is that when the French ski resorts announce their opening dates for the winter ski season, they usually also announce some great ski deals and discounts.
Ski lift pass prices are often discounted for the first two weeks of the ski season in France, so make sure to look for deals when you make your booking.
Additionally, this season there were special deals for Morzine-Avoriaz where you could get 10 to 20% off your ski passes if you booked early. You could get 10% off Portes du Soleil ski passes for bookings made between September and mid-December (minimum of 4 days).
