If you’ve booked a flight to Dublin airport, taking a taxi to the city centre is a good option.

This is particularly true if you are short on time, have lots of luggage, and don’t mind spending a few extra euros.

Taxis from Dublin airport to the Dublin city centre cost around 30 euros, depending on your final destination in the city.

The taxi ride from Dublin airport to the center of the city takes 30 minutes without traffic, and around 50 minutes with traffic.

Allow more time if you are taking a taxi from Dublin airport to anywhere south of the Dublin city centre.
