The popular Eurostar ski train from London to the Alps is a great way to get from the UK to France in the winter months.
Trains offer passengers access to some of the best ski resorts in France, including Courchevel, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Meribel, Tignes, Val d’Isere, Val Thorens, and Les Menuires.
Trains run directly from London St. Pancras train station, which is located in the northern part of the city centre. They travel to Moutiers, Aime la Plagne, and Bourg St Maurice during the winter ski season.
Eurostar ski trains from London to the Alps depart St. Pancras on Friday nights and Saturday mornings at from late December to early April. The Friday train arrives at Moutiers, Aime la Plagne, and Bourg St Maurice the following morning. The Saturday train arrives at Moutiers, Aime la Plagne, and Bourg St Maurice the same evening.
Returning Eurostar ski trains depart Bourg St Maurice train station on Saturday mornings and Saturday nights until mid-April. After stops in Moutiers and Ashford International, trains arrive at London St. Pancras train station. Trains from the Alps to London don’t stop at Aime la Plagne.
There are two classes of travel you can choose from on the ski train: Standard class and Standard Premier class. The latter offers more options for food and beverage.
