The annual Wimbledon Tennis Championships in London draw visitors from all over the world to watch the world’s top-ranked tennis players battle to the finish. Wimbledon is one of the highlights of the British summer social season, and is a great way to experience a classic event in the UK.
Tennis play starts on Centre and No. 1 Courts at 1pm for the first 11 days of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, and at 2pm on finals days. On other tennis courts at Wimbledon, play starts at 12pm for the first 8 days of the tennis championships.
Tickets for the Wimbledon Tennis Championships are hard to come by, and one of the best ways to get them is to register for the annual lottery. If you miss the deadline, there are some last-minute tickets available. If all else fails, you can line up on the day you want to see the tennis and get second-hand tickets from people as they leave.
If you don’t get tickets and don’t want to wait in line, you can rest assured that the tennis is televised. If you can’t go to the Wimbledon Tennis Championships in person, you can enjoy them from home.
