The weather in Prague and the Czech Republic is as varied as the architecture. It can rain one day and be sunny the next, so you will need to pack appropriate clothing for all kinds of weather when you visit.
Czech springs and summers are mild, but hot days and thunderstorms are not uncommon. Temperatures range from around 12°C (54°F) to 35°C (95°F) from late spring to late summer, so there can be large variations in the temperature. If you visit during the summer, make sure to pack a light jacket and bring an umbrella just in case it rains.
Winters in Prague and the rest of the Czech Republic are cold and snowy, with temperatures often dipping below freezing. If you visit during the winter, make sure to bring a heavy coat, hat, scarf, boots, and gloves.
