Prague Christmas Markets dates: late November to early January.
Prague’s Christmas Markets (Vanocni trh in Czech) are some of the most famous in Europe. Held during late November, the entire month of December, and early January each year, the markets are the highlight of spending Christmas in Prague.
Prague’s main Christmas markets will be in Old Town Square from the end of November to the end of December, and in Wenceslas Square from early December to early January.
The market in Old Town Square features a children’s petting zoo, a life-size manger scene, and live entertainment throughout the month.

Havelske Trziste: year-round market with special Christmas emphasis during the season
Namesti Miru: late November to late December
Palackeho Square: late November to late December
Jiriho z Podebrad Square: late November to late December

The main features of Prague’s Christmas Markets are the brightly lit Christmas trees and wooden market stalls. The stalls, called chalets, sell everything from handicrafts to ornaments, as well as Christmas food and drink, and mulled wine.
