One of the best ways to get from Brussels South Charleroi Airport to Bruges is by train. Services are quick and efficient, getting you to your final destination without hassle.
From Brussels South Charleroi Airport, first purchase a combination bus-and-train ticket at one of the two machines near Door 2. The combination ticket costs less than 15 euros and includes bus fare to the Charleroi South train station as well as train fare from Charelroi to Bruges (with a connection in Brussels at Midi-Zuid station).
After you have purchased the bus-and-train ticket, board TEC bus A from the bus stop outside of the terminal building. Buses leave the airport for the Charleroi South train station every half hour on weekdays and every hour on weekends, so the service is convenient no matter when your flight lands.
The bus ride from Charleroi airport to the train station takes approximately 18 to 20 minutes.
Once you arrive at Charleroi South train station, you can take a train to the Brussels city centre, then change for a train to Bruges at Midi-Zuid station. More information on trains from Brussels to Bruges can be found here.
