Car hire can be arranged prior to visiting Croatia if you want to book online. This is especially recommended if you are traveling to Croatia in the high season, as vehicles get booked up early. Another good reason to book online in advance is to save money. Voucher codes and discounts abound on the Internet, and can save you a lot on your car.
However you choose to book, make sure to read your contract carefully so that you understand what is included and what is not. Some companies charge extra fees for petrol or charge per kilometer if you exceed a maximum distance allowance. Others have charges for picking up or returning your car outside of regular operating hours.
