Whether you’re in the mood to sit down and have a beer or stand up and dance the night away, Prague has many options for nightlife. The following are my favorite night spots in Prague:
5. Lucerna Music Bar
Address: Vodickova 36, New Town, Prague 1
Lucerna is a big indoor shopping arcade near Wenceslas Square with some great options for nightlife. Lucerna Music Bar is in the basement. It offers a range of events and themed music evenings – don’t miss 80’s nights!
4. Karlovy Lazne
Address: Smetanovo nabrezi 198/1, New Town, Prague 1
Karlovy Lazne is a huge 5-story disco right next to the Charles Bridge. The largest music club in Central Europe, it attracts an international crowd and is always a good night out.
3. Budvar Bar
Address: Na Perstyne 7, New Town, Prague 1
You can go to the Budvar Bar for dinner or just for a beer. As the name implies, it is a popular place for Czech Budvar beer. Make sure to get there early, as the place fills up quickly.
2. U Maleho Glena
Address: Karmelitska 23, Mala Strana, Prague 1
Prague is famous for its jazz scene, and there are many venues to choose from. But the best jazz club in Prague is U Maleho Glena, which is located in Mala Strana. If you go, make sure to book ahead of time.
1. U Fleku
Address: Kremencova 11, New Town, Prague 1
U Fleku is an authentic Czech pub tucked away in New Town. It has authentic atmosphere and great Czech beer, and is the perfect place to have dinner or drinks.
There are lots of other good places for nightlife in Prague, many of which are tucked away down small streets near Old Town Square. If you can find some locals, ask them to point you in the direction of their favorite.
