The world-famous Pardubice Steeplechase has been taking place in the Bohemian town in the Czech Republic since 1874.
The highlight of the horse racing season in Pardubice is the International Great Pardubice Steeplechase. This is a grueling 6.9 kilometer (4.3 mile) course with 31 obstacles that test the endurance of the world’s best steeplechase competitors.
The event is best known for its Taxis Ditch jump.
