Below are your options for trains from Berlin’s major airports to the city.

Trains from Berlin Tegel Airport to Berlin City Centre
There is no direct train from Berlin Tegel to the Berlin city centre. Instead, take bus number 109, 128, X9, or the JetExpressBus TXL from Tegel airport. Buses from the airport connect to other forms of public transportation as well as the city’s main train stations.

Trains from Berlin Schonefeld Airport to Berlin City Centre
To get to the city centre, take S-Bahn train S45 or S9 from Berlin Schonefeld airport. The S-Bahn trains take around 45 minutes to get to the city and cost 3.10 euros one-way.

Alternatively, take the AirportExpress train from Schonefeld airport to Berlin. The train runs to the Hauptbahnhof (main train station), Zoologischer Garten, Friedrichstrasse, Alexanderplatz and Ostbahnhof every 30 minutes.

The trip from the airport to the city centre takes 15 to 35 minutes, depending on which station is your final destination. Tickets cost 3.10 euros each way.
