Many people visiting the Algarve city of Faro want to continue their journey to southern Spain by taking a train from Faro to Seville.
With the cities being so close and both of them having great sightseeing highlights and well-connected rail links, it makes sense to travel between them by rail.
Unfortunately, there are no direct trains from Faro to Seville at this point in time. There are plans for a high speed AVE train between the two cities, but the earliest date that the train will be running is 2015.
