London in the Springtime

Generally speaking, though, the weather in London is cold in the winter and warm in the summer. Winter weather can dip below freezing, and snow is not uncommon in most years. Summers are usually warm but not too hot, although London does get the occasional heat wave in July and August.

Spring and fall weather is generally cool and rainy. Snow showers can occur as late as April and as early as November, although this is rare. Most days are chilly with grey skies.
